In case anyone stumbles on my page and is wondering about the Legends, allow me to explain.

Since I got into magic in the early days of Tempest and 6th edition I have had a sordid fascination with older cards than those I played, and the ones I encountered the most in my youth were those of Legends. Chains of Mephistopheles, Underworld Dreams, Storm World, The Abyss, and dozens more. I grew to admire the set when I was young, and its set symbol, the pillar of the acropolis; could any image be more striking to my imagination? When I grew wiser and savvy in the game and its construction and intricacies, I learned the many faults with the set of lore, most atrociously, its Legendary Creatures. To be frank, they are piss poor. Even for the time. They are far too costly for abilities which are non eventful in a competitive game. Even worse, many of them are left without any ability, and are instead given a ridiculous P/T to compensate for such a fault, but even a higher than average P/T doesn't add up when one glances at a cards mana cost.

So with the strike of inspiration and determination, I have taken up the task of updating said Legends to a new age. I knew from the beginning what I wanted and didn't want to do. I wanted to make cards that were based in the old, with their original mana costs, and cards that were more than deserving of the honor of being the Original Legends. And I hope I did just that.

Hey, I've just stumbled upon your legends (because I typed "Dakkon Blackblade" into the search), and I wanted to say that I really like what you've did here.
I haven't played MTG that long, but when I first looked through the old editions (mainly "Legends"), I came to liking a lot of the legends there, and I've always been sad that most of them are that weak... many of the newer players of MTG don't even know about them because they just don't care.

I wish Wizards would reprint all the "new legends" you've made here. I really do.
